It's Coffee Break Time

Good Wednesday morning to ya all!!! Hope you all are able to enjoy the Summer days... kinda gives ya a lift when the sun is shinning.

Take a hop over to the Diva's blog to check out the color challenge we are using this week. I found it to be a little of a challenge, just because the colors aren't something I use everyday. The colors are Always Artichoke, Night of Navy, Bashful Blue and Whisper White or Very Vanilla. I used the Top Note as the main focus on the front of my card. It also gave me the opportunity to use my Big Shot..... a little machine that is quite useful... be sure and try it, if you haven't!!!! To further show the tree and the Top Note, I used a SU marker and followed the perferated lines all around. The strips under the Top Note, is Always Artichoke and Bashful Blue which are scalloped with the border punch. I then added the white decorative ribbon and Night of Navy ribbon. The stamp set I used is "Le Jardin Botanique" #113232. Inside of the card, I used the negative space from the Top Note, stamped it with "Itty Bitty Backgrounds" #114996, and the flower from "Le Jardin Botanique".

Be sure and leave a comment about the card, and thanks for stopping by, I appreciate your comments and your company!!!

Stampin Up is coming out with a new catalog real soon. There are some really unique sets, some I'm sure you would enjoy. Be sure and let me know IF you are interested in getting the new catalog!! You can email me at

  1. Great job, Denise! I love the saying with that stamp set. I like how you did the edging of the top note to make it stand out more. Like I have said before, I like how you always have a matching envelope to go along with it.

  2. Wow Denise, that tree fits right on that Top Note! Pretty! Nice job on this challenge!

  3. This is lovely Denise! Great color combo and design! Well done!
    Blessings, Maria
